Energy Advisor – Partnering with Homeowners, Builders, Developers, and Architects in Sea to Sky Region

At Aspex Energy, we provide expert energy advisory services to homeowners, builders, developers, and architects, ensuring sustainable, efficient solutions for residential and commercial properties. Based in Squamish, we embrace an active lifestyle and a deep respect for nature. We’re seeking a passionate Energy Advisor to help drive meaningful change in energy efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct energy assessments for residential, commercial, and new construction projects.
• Work closely with builders and architects to implement energy-efficient designs that align with sustainability goals.
• Provide personalized recommendations for sustainable building practices and energy-efficient technologies.
• Educate clients on renewable energy options, including solar power and advanced efficiency strategies.
• Develop and present clear proposals that outline the benefits of recommended solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and energy efficiency advancements.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions, assessments, and project progress.

Requirements:

• Natural Resources Canada Energy Advisor certification.
• Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and sustainable building technologies.
• Excellent communication skills to simplify complex concepts for builders, architects, homeowners, and developers.
• Proven customer service experience with a focus on trust-building and long-term relationships.
• Ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights based on assessments.
• A background in environmental science, engineering, or related fields is an asset.
• Passion for sustainability and the impact of energy-efficient solutions.
